Sustainable Supper Clubs: Our Guide to Dining Out More Sustainably
The Thought: It’s that time of year when the weather shifts and you start to hunker down, cosy up, and get ready for winter hibernation. The weekends become less about rooftop bars, and more about warming meals, so what better way to spend an evening out than at a sustainable supper club!
The Feeling: If you prefer to dine with a side of conscious, then this guide is for you. We have put together a list of our personal favourite supper clubs that champion sustainability and seasonality, as well as some we would love to try. Nothing tastes as good as planet-friendly feels.
The Supper Clubs:
10 Miles Club, various locations
Emily and Sarah set up the 10 Miles supper club to celebrate seasonal, sustainable ingredients. They design menus with full traceability and a low carbon footprint, all meat is reared within a 10 mile radius of the venue, and waste is kept to a minimum. The meal features four courses and an arrival drink, with previous menus including dishes like crayfish with a sourdough focaccia and dip for starters, pork belly as a main course and elderberry tart for dessert, but it all depends on what the team can source in the local area.

Gaucho Restaurants
The Charlotte Street restaurant was the first in the Gaucho group to serve carbon neutral beef, so it’s fitting that they remain the hosts of a regular sustainable supper club. Guests are invited to dine on a four course sustainable feast featuring underutilised cuts of meat, local and seasonal herbs and vegetables, with a range of eco-friendly drinks options. Live music also accompanies each Supper Club, showcasing the talent of local musicians.
