the process:
Resilient, renewable eucalyptus trees are grown without the use of genetic manipulation, irrigation, or pesticides. Once harvested, the trees are processed into chips which are pulped and dried into sheets. These sheets are broken up and dissolved in a non-toxic amine oxide solution, which results in a clear, cellulose viscous liquid.
the impact:
• The eucalyptus trees are grown in sustainable, fsc certified forests
• The fibres made in production are compostable and biodegradable, so can fully revert back to nature
• The finished fabric is 50% more absorbent than cotton
